The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud –may Allah protect him– patronized the Award Ceremony of the 41st King Faisal International Prize (KFIP) for this year 2019 on Sunday, March 24th, 2019. Upon arrival at Prince Sultan Grand Gallery at Al-Faisaliyah Hotel
the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques –may Allah guide him– was received by HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region, who is also the Executive President of King Faisal Charity Foundation and Chairman of King Faisal International Prize Panel; HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies; and HRH Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid, Secretary General of King Faisal Charity Foundation. King Faisal School was among the participants in organizing this ceremony. The participation was achieved through the presence of a group of the School’s students who helped in welcoming the guests and accompanying them to their seats. In keeping pace with what has been the habitual practice of the School every year, this participation comes as a symbol of our loyalty to King Faisal –may Allah bless his soul– and recognition of the founders of King Faisal International Prize.
