A Trip to Al-Ahsa
Grade 11 students, in coordination with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), went on a 3 day trip to Al-Ahsa region, from 11-13 of December.
On the first day, students visited Ghufaisan palace, Law school, old Koot neighborhood, where most of the houses were mud houses, Alkhudood springs and the water canal that was used to supply farmers with water.
On the second day, students had the chance to see and learn how handmade baked clay utensils are made. After the visit, they took an exciting Safari trip into Nufood desert. They stopped at the Asfar Lake and Mount Qara.
On the final day of the trip, students visited the old qaysariya market and the date market.
Thanks to SCTH and the CAS program, the trip was a success.
